About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned civil engineer to work on various infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, bridges, and other critical infrastructure.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Design and develop civil and structural engineering solutions for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers from other disciplines to design commercial and government facilities.
- Evaluate existing projects for repair and improvement opportunities.
- Analyze data to determine project requirements.
- Create schematic designs and drawings, finalize designs for permits and construction.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture.
- Professional licensure is a plus but not required.
- At least two years of experience in civil or architectural design, preferably in a leadership role.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
We welcome candidates with the following qualifications:
- Mastery of AutoCAD and other design software, particularly Civil3D, STAAD, RISA, and similar tools.
- Familiarity with International Building Code, ASCE, ACI 318, and related technical standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint is a plus.
CROSS COUNTRY SOLUTIONS offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
