Job Description:

As a seasoned project management professional, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of projects that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be essential in upholding our team's mission to deliver high-quality services that meet and exceed customer expectations.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project targets, expectations, and commitments. Your strong analytical skills and ability to identify risks will enable you to develop mitigation plans and drive project pursuits to achieve targets.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead changes in processes for continuous improvement and operational sustainability. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in providing project guidance to groups of professionals engaged in service projects.

 



Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving successful project completion and ensuring quality of deliverables.
  • Assuring Emerson commitments are met, following contracts, and seeking to improve customer satisfaction through problem resolution.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Service, and Projects teams to define project targets, expectations, and commitments.
  • Carefully planning and identifying risks involved in projects or pursuit activities.
  • Initiating and leading process improvements for continuous success.

For this position, you must possess a strong bottom-line orientation, ask the right questions to analyze situations, consider all relevant factors, and apply appropriate decision-making criteria and principles.

Additionally, you should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other technical degrees with relevant experience. A minimum of three years of experience in process control from at least one target industry is also required.

 


Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other technical degrees with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process control from at least one target industry (Oil and Gas, Chemical, Refining, Pharmaceutical, or other fluid process control industries).
  • Knowledge and experience in engineering, servicing, and/or operating control systems in plants, and project management.
  • Proven ability to establish effective relationships with customers, business partners, and internal organizations to deliver successful lifecycle services.

A PMP Certification and multi-year experience working in a service/project organization with interaction with process industry customers are preferred qualifications that set you apart.
