Job Title: Policy and Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

This role involves the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, review, and maintain policies and procedures across departments and functions, including Human Resources, Clinical Operations, Administrative Services, and programs governed by Arizona DHS and other regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of required reports and meetings, as well as support the development of new policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all policies are current, systematically reviewed, and fully compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and accrediting standards.
  • Maintain an indexed, up-to-date master library of current policies and archived versions.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Legal Studies, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or policy management within a healthcare or behavioral health organization.
  • Familiarity with Joint Commission, Arizona DHS, and applicable labor and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong technical writing, policy drafting, and document control skills.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally across HR, operations, and clinical teams.
