Strategic Policy Advisor

This role is all about driving impactful strategy and initiatives as an individual contributor. You will shape and implement global policies, processes, and procedures to enhance the quality, efficiency, and scalability of Trust and Safety operations while aligning with organizational goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote user safety by optimizing policies and processes to improve the user experience and internal operations.
- Maintain and update significant Trust and Safety programs like the Thumbtack Guarantee, the Solution Center, Non-Discrimination Policy, Data Privacy compliance, Dispute Mediation, Anomaly Detection, Terms of Service enforcement, Payments Risk, etc.
- 2+ years in program management, policy or process management, with a track record of leading complex projects to successful outcomes (impacting 10 to 50+ people).
- Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to execute solutions forward.
- Effective communication skills to explain findings and recommendations to various stakeholders and audiences.
