Senior Design Manager Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the design process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

About This Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management structure, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process across multiple projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure that projects meet their objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement design strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to understand project requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures related to design management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. architecture, engineering, design).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a design management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with design software and technology.
