Job Overview

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for leading the modernization of mainframe systems to cloud platforms. You will develop and implement technical strategies for cloud migration and modernization, leveraging your expertise in mainframe data structures and processes.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of mainframe architecture and experience in cloud migration and modernization. They should also possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in stakeholder engagement and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical strategies for cloud migration and modernization.
  • Lead teams in designing and deploying cloud-based solutions that meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering excellence principles, including Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and observability.
Requirements
  • Expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and mainframe data structures and processes.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, especially GCP, and modern application architectures and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tooling, AI, and automation capabilities, as well as system integration patterns and migration methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with GenAI and GitHub Co-Pilot.
