Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team.

This role involves creating drawings, plans, and designs for mechanical engineering work under the direction of mechanical engineers. The ideal candidate will assist in designing mechanical equipment and project components to meet all requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Support sales processes with technical drawing, plans, and advice
  • Engage with team and clients to ensure understanding of project requirements
  • Accurately convert specifications into technical drawings for company projects and products to support sales
  • Develop drawings to ensure effective customer solutions, regulatory compliance, and recommendations
  • Deliver technical papers to internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and emerging technologies to optimize specifications
  • Manage team and customer relations for positive outcomes
  • Prepare technical documentation meeting all specifications and requirements
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding of project to optimize safety and sales targets
  • Deliver technical presentation of drawings to support sales
  • Consult with relevant parties to incorporate requirements into documentation
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet work outcomes within budget and targets
  • Resolve technical issues within 24 hours
  • Achieve positive NPS from business and clients
  • Maintain accurate records and reports according to standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer Draftsperson
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Design, or relevant field
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in water/oil & gas pipeline design is a plus
  • Experience in managerial roles is beneficial
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and project management skills
  • Attention to detail and disciplined approach
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Understanding of project conditions and context
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Financial and contractual knowledge
