Quality Assurance Specialist

">

ECAS Consultants is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to work with our engineering team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, controlling and improving production lead times of our drafters and modelers.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the BIM Manager/Drafting Managers in the day-to-day development and implementation of BIM projects

  • Assist in training staff and undergoing technical trainings

  • Ensure compliance to drafting standards

  • Develop design components using modeling tools

  • Maintain graphic and non-graphic data embedded in BIM models

  • Prepare packages for submissions

  • Configure and run clash tests

  • Collect and validate data as per AIM's and client specific requirements

  • Prepare reports as needed

  • Control the drafting output of our team and ensure that they are compliant to the set standards

Qualifications and Experience

">

• Diploma in B.S. Civil Engineering or related courses

• Minimum 4 year experience in C&S modeling works

• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM and Civil 3D with substantial experience in building and infrastructure projects

• Capable of reviewing and ensuring the quality of drawings

• Able to supervise and coordinate with drafters and engineers to ensure timely delivery of work
