Core Banking Expert

A career opportunity has arisen for a seasoned expert in the field of core banking systems. We are seeking an individual with extensive knowledge and experience in designing, implementing, and migrating such systems.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Avaloq banking platform, specifically in the areas of Accounting, Credit, and Payments. They will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring a smooth transition and knowledge transfer to the client's internal teams.

We are looking for someone with:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience working with the Avaloq banking platform, with a strong focus on one of the Accounting, Credit, or Payments modules
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering core banking system implementations or migrations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts, contribute to a critical system transformation, and work on a large-scale, international banking project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on configuration and implementation of the Avaloq banking suite
  • Collaboration with the Avaloq team and the client to gather requirements, design solutions, and execute the migration
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of banking operations and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on projects for UK or European banking clients
  • Familiarity with the Temenos banking platform
  • Avaloq certification or equivalent
