Job Title: Senior Enterprise Banking Architect

About the Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Banking Architect to drive core banking transformation by aligning business and technology capabilities with industry best practices.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has extensive knowledge of enterprise banking capabilities, architecture, and technology.
  • Is able to lead the creation of coalesced views of business capabilities and technology capabilities.
  • Understands how to champion ideas that improve technology value delivery.
  • Has experience in leading core banking transformation programs.
  • Can define solutions for enterprises with a vision for big-bang, gradual modernization, and transformation.
  • Has a deep understanding of security and infrastructure patterns.
  • Knows APIs and events patterns, and is able to guide their implementation.
  • Possesses outstanding presentation skills to support strategic socialization.
  • Is able to manage senior stakeholders effectively, delivering deep industry insights based on current trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Can establish trusted relationships with the business and act as a liaison between business and IT.
  • Has a solid understanding of how technology, processes, people, and data work together to deliver business outcomes.
  • Is familiar with the regulatory framework for retail and corporate banking.
  • Exhibits excellent problem-solving and people management skills.
  • Meets governance forum requirements.
  • Can define target architectures, roadmaps, and timescales to maximize effective technology use.
  • Leads the full life cycle delivery of technical solutions for business projects from concept to operation.
  • Understands the BIAN capability model.
  • Identifies service domains and creates an aligned bank capability model.
  • Mapped bank entities according to BQs, CRs, service domains.
  • Defines BIAN-aligned API contracts.
  • Defines workflows for business processes describing service domain communication.
  • Represents the bank in BIAN global forums and provides feedback on identified gaps.
  • Understands the Business Object Model and maps the bank's data to the Business Object Model (BOM).
  • Has experience in effort estimation, deal costing, and architecting multi-million-dollar deals.
  • Understands enterprise banking capabilities and maps applications to capabilities.
  • Has experience in setting up and chairing architecture governance forums.
  • Leads the architecture stream of a transformation program and is its external face.
  • Proactively solves problems and proposes improvements to clients.
  • Holds BIAN certification (preferred).
  • Understands Event-Driven Architecture.
