Job Description

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in handling banking transactions and providing exceptional customer service. This includes building relationships with clients to meet business objectives and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing new account openings, placements, renewals, terminations, and payout of matured placements
  • Processing payments, deposits, withdrawals, encashment, and other financial transactions
  • Ensuring timely and accurate servicing of transactions in compliance with established operations guidelines and service standards

In addition to these tasks, the representative will:

  • Identify customers' needs and maintain strong relationships through marketing calls, branch appointments, and discussions
  • Recommend and cross-sell banking products, services, and alternative channels to increase client engagement
  • Monitor and review targets and actual performance of managed and new accounts handled

Requirements for this role include:

  • At least 1 year of experience in branch banking or similar roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and a strong customer service orientation
  • A thorough understanding of regulatory, quality control, and risk management frameworks
