Customer Experience Professional

Job Summary:

The Customer Experience Associate II role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional service to customers. This position involves providing support for workers' compensation claims from multi-state medical providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service for all calls with a thorough understanding of worker's compensation guidelines.
  • Utilize specialized software to manage calls efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date on State regulations and guidelines related to Workers' Compensation.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as managing faxes, resubmitting bills, updating spreadsheets, and processing emails within 24 hours.
  • Process medical bills, coding, or data entry with 98% accuracy during phone downtime or as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience (voice).
  • Ability to learn ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT/HCOC coding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based software.
  • Excellent oral and written English skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in Workers' Compensation.
  • Two years of experience in a medical setting.
  • Six months of experience in the Bill Review Department.
