Embedded Linux Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Linux expert to join our team in the APAC region.

This role will involve engaging with customers during presales to gather requirements and explain Canonical technology, elaborating solutions to be proposed to prospective clients, participating in the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux, conveying market requirements to key stakeholders, and contributing to the development or refinement of generic solutions to unlock market potential.

You will be both a customer advocate and a trusted advisor to our organization. To succeed in this role, you will need to be fluent in Mandarin and willing to travel to China regularly, possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, have extensive Linux experience - Debian or Ubuntu preferred, distribution/packaging experience, solid embedded Linux experience, fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust, professional written and spoken English, excellent communication and presentation skills, result-oriented, ability to multi-task, a personal drive to meet commitments, humble learner and quick study, and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings, company events, and conferences.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Fluency in Mandarin
