Job Title: Linux Systems Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Linux Systems Specialist. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Linux-based infrastructure.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team to design, implement, and maintain high-performance Linux systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our systems, while also providing top-notch support to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize Linux-based infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
  • Design and implement high-performance Linux systems that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex technical issues and improve system reliability.
  • Provide excellent customer support, responding promptly to technical inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong background in Linux systems administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Experience with high-performance computing, including clusters, grids, and cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or Bash, and experience with automation tools like Ansible or SaltStack.
