Network Engineering Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure. This includes planning, configuring, and troubleshooting network devices, as well as ensuring the security and integrity of our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network architecture, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching, and wireless networks.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures to ensure network security and compliance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot network issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain accurate network diagrams and asset inventories using industry-standard tooling.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a multi-site environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Fortinet technologies, including firewalls, SD-WAN, switching, and Wi-Fi.
  • Experience integrating log sources and building detections in Microsoft Sentinel or similar SIEM platforms.
  • Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), network security best practices, and wireless design principles.
  • Exposure to automation (Python/Ansible) and Infrastructure as Code workflows.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on security and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A self-starter comfortable operating independently within a small, fast-moving team.
