Financial Statement Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Statement Preparation Specialist to join our team. This role involves preparing financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 1A for UK-based clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare year-end accounts for UK-based clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Draft and review financial disclosures and statutory reports, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including deferred income and accruals, to ensure precise financial reporting.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to deliver timely and accurate financial information.
- Utilize TaxCalc and Xero to prepare and submit financial information, streamlining the process and enhancing efficiency.
- Assist in finalizing accounts and resolving any compliance-related issues, providing expertise and guidance as needed.
- A minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience preparing UK year-end accounts.
- A strong understanding and practical experience with FRS 102 1A, enabling informed decision-making and expert advice.
- Solid grasp of balance sheet concepts, including deferred income and accruals, facilitating effective financial analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in TaxCalc and Xero, allowing seamless integration and efficient financial management.
- Excellent attention to detail, enabling meticulous financial preparation and review.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, fostering effective teamwork and client relationships.
