About Data Operations Analyst

This role plays a pivotal part in bridging the gap between technical data teams and business operations. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient controls of data processing systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Trend Collection:
    • Identifying and extracting meaningful patterns from large datasets to inform business decisions.
  • Data Quality Monitoring:
    • Establishing and maintaining data quality metrics, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Data Pipeline Management:
    • Managing existing data pipelines to collect data from ingestion, processing, and distribution across different systems, ensuring seamless integration and real-time insights.
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Analyzing operational processes to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to enhance overall efficiency.
  • System Administration:
    • Maintaining and troubleshooting data and reporting systems, including simple data and reporting tools administrative tasks, to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • BAU Ownership:
    • Manage and process existing BAU automated processes, act as first-level incident support analysts in case of failure, and maintain Ops Manual for ease of issue resolution.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Graduate degree in IT or Computer-related field (preferably Engineering, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or Statistics)
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in basic SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI)
