Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to spearhead our financial operations, ensuring precise reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning.

This role is crucial in managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and providing actionable insights to drive profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Create and monitor comprehensive budgetary plans, forecasts, and financial models.
    • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Accounting and Reporting:
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
    • Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
  • Compliance and Audit:
    • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal financial regulations.
    • Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
    • Foster team growth and improve departmental efficiency.
  • Strategic Financial Support:
    • Provide insightful recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
    • Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
    • Optimize cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
    • Oversee investments, banking relationships, and funding arrangements.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting.
  • 2+ years in management budgeting and projections.
  • Proven track record in managerial or controller positions.
  • Cashflow management expertise.
Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks online, Quickbooks desktop) and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
