Job Summary:
The Plumbing Take-off Specialist plays a crucial role in project estimation by accurately interpreting drawings, performing takeoffs, and preparing cost proposals.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct takeoffs from plumbing drawings to determine material quantities and labor costs
- Review all project documents and drawings to assess factors impacting the scope of work
- Obtain vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy
- Input takeoff data and prepare detailed proposals using provided templates
- Ensure timely submission of projects while maintaining attention to detail
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience in Plumbing & Sprinkler Takeoffs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel for documentation and proposal preparation
- Hands-on experience with Revu Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and markup processes
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints with accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
