Job Overview

The Quality Control Specialist plays a key role in guaranteeing the excellence of our assets by scrutinizing and finalizing milestone packages for accuracy.

This includes verifying solar monitoring platforms, confirming estimated production meets installed design, and ensuring project milestone approvals are processed promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review installation photos and job completion documentation
  • Verify sold production to physical installation
  • Provide clear reasons for rejected packages
  • Resolve closeout package rejections for fast turnaround times
  • Remain current on installation materials and methods
  • Support installation best practices and customer satisfaction
  • Handle incoming chat or ticket systems for expedient resolution
  • Identify trends or patterns with partners and drive remediation recommendations
  • Contribute to partner calls to drive education and best practices
  • Perform site inspections as prescribed under specific programs, accessing rooftops and electrical equipment

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical or construction based solar role
  • Experience with interdepartmental problem solving or project management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with third parties
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and stand/kneel/bend down for extended periods during inspections
  • Adhere to field safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
