Role Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned credit professional to join our team as a Credit Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in evaluating the creditworthiness of clients and supporting the underwriting process for property acquisitions, leases, and financing arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess client credit risk
  • Prepare comprehensive credit analyses and risk assessments for new and existing clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure deals that align with our risk tolerance
  • Monitor client portfolios and identify potential credit risks or deteriorating financial conditions
  • Maintain accurate records of credit evaluations and decisions
  • Recommend credit limits and terms based on risk analysis
  • Stay current with industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within the real estate industry
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Familiarity with credit scoring systems and risk assessment tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
