Backend Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will design, build, and optimize robust backend systems and APIs behind our high-performing applications.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Python, SQL, and AWS, and to contribute to the development of scalable solutions that push the platform forward.

  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems and APIs built for speed and growth.
  • You will shape access by building and managing secure, reliable, and efficient public-facing APIs.
  • You will own CI/CD pipelines that power continuous integration and deployment.
  • You will implement best-in-class monitoring and observability with tools like Datadog or New Relic.
  • You will collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders to align backend architecture with business goals.
Key Qualifications
  • You have 5+ years of backend development experience, building and scaling public-facing APIs.
  • You code in Python like a pro, with solid experience in Flask or FastAPI.
  • You are highly skilled in SQL and PostgreSQL, and ideally PostGIS for geospatial data.
  • You bring experience with spatial mapping tools (like Mapbox) or GIS concepts.
