The ideal candidate will be a mid-level Python developer with experience in solving real-world problems and creating solutions for operational efficiency.

This role focuses on developing custom scripts and applications to process geospatial data, automate transformation tasks, and manage data pipelines into databases.

  • Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and scripts using Python to support operations workflows.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for spatial data into relational databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
  • Automate data transformation and processing pipelines to improve efficiency and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and support internal tools and workflows in both production and development environments.
  • Ensure code quality through version control, testing, code reviews, and comprehensive documentation.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant engineering field, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Python development.

Key skills include hands-on experience with geospatial tools such as QGIS, PyQGIS, or GIS libraries like GDAL/OGR, Shapely, or GeoPandas.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, work independently, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
