Job Title: Tax Accountant

About the Role

This role requires technical expertise in Company & Trust Tax Returns, Trust Distributions, FBT, CGT Calculations, and Division 7A loans.

We are seeking a professional with expertise in Australian taxation who can hit the ground running in a client-facing environment.

Work setup: Remote

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM AU Time | 9 AM - 6 PM PH Time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and efficient tax return preparation
  • Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) calculations
  • Capital Gains Tax (CGT) event management
  • Division 7A loan compliance and structuring
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in Australian accounting and taxation
  • Proficient in Australian tax legislation and compliance
  • Xero and XPM proficiency are required

Please note that this is a mid-senior level position requiring strong technical skills and leadership abilities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and guide junior or offshore staff.
