Job Overview

The Business Support Analyst is a key professional responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of software systems. This critical role involves troubleshooting production issues, establishing system protocols, and determining whether raised tickets are related to new features or existing problems.

Key responsibilities include analyzing client requirements, resolving live production issues, performing gap analysis, creating detailed use cases, and managing assigned tasks according to strict service level agreements and quality standards.

As a central point of contact, the Business Support Analyst works closely with clients to understand and analyze their software requirements. They collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with business requirements and agreed specifications.

Additionally, this role involves participating in reviews of test cases with the QA team, providing knowledge transfer sessions, working under pressure to meet agreed service levels while maintaining acceptable quality standards, and liaising with delivery, compliance, and technical teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must have a diploma in Information Communication Technology, Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Software Development, Computer Science, or Business with IT.
  • Extensive experience in business requirements gathering, definition, and system configuration/design, or working in a support team solving software-related issues.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong documentation skills and proficiency in SQL Language.
  • Ability to facilitate remote and face-to-face client meetings and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of user stories or use cases is useful but not mandatory.
