Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Manager to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for leading the creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making. Your expertise in building and operating complex financial models using Excel will drive business growth and inform client decisions.



Main Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of active assignments, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Model Development: Collaborate with Senior Managers to design and implement robust financial models, incorporating industry best practices and standards.
  • Assumptions and Parameters: Develop and refine assumptions, parameters, and scenarios to ensure model accuracy and reliability.
  • Commercial Discussions: Engage with clients to discuss commercial issues and ensure they are accurately reflected in the model.
  • Sensitivity Analysis: Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs, informing client decisions.
  • Methodology Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of our financial modeling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results.


People Management
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of modelling professionals, fostering collaboration and driving shared success.
  • Jr. Team Management: Train, motivate, and manage junior team members on assignments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with team members, learning and contributing to assignments.
  • Client Communication: Communicate model findings and insights effectively to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
  • Accounting Concepts: A good appreciation of accounting concepts; an accounting qualification is beneficial.
  • Financial Planning: An in-depth understanding of Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Financial Planning concepts.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel.
  • Educational Qualifications: Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial.
  • FAST Standard: Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
