**Finance Leadership Role**

The Finance Controller position involves overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports is crucial, adhering to accounting standards and company policies.

The Finance Controller will lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring comprehensive and accurate financial reporting.

  • Key responsibilities include developing and implementing robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.
  • Overseeing tax planning and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all tax returns, is also essential.
  • Coordinating and managing internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, is another critical duty.

Providing leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to the accounting team is crucial, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Collaborating with other departments to support business operations, strategic planning, and decision-making is also required.

Driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and improve overall financial performance is a key objective.

  • Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership roles within accounting, with a background in a large accounting firm preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for this role, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
