Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Operations Center (NOC) Agent to join our team. As a NOC Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and stability of our network infrastructure.

Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring network performance, analyzing data to identify potential issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems. You will also be responsible for providing real-time support to field technicians, assisting in diagnosing and resolving issues.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, incidents, and resolutions. This will involve maintaining up-to-date records of system performance, troubleshooting steps, and resolution outcomes.

As a NOC Agent, you will work closely with senior support staff and network engineers to escalate complex problems and ensure timely resolution. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze network performance to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems.
  • Provide real-time support to field technicians, assisting in diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance network efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a NOC or technical support role, preferably in the managed wi-fi or satellite television space.
  • A strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and satellite communication systems.
  • Experience with TV satellite equipment and tools is a plus.
  • Network+ (Net+) certification is a plus.
  • Meraki ECMS certification is a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
