Job Title: Communications Officer

The role of a Communications Officer is pivotal in managing the internal and external communications of an organization. This position requires a professional with excellent communication skills to ensure compliance with the organization's brand image and corporate identity standards across all marketing and public relations channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage internal and external communications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Public Relations: Generate awareness of the organization through collaboration with PR consultants and other stakeholders.
  • Newsletter: Develop content, edit, and proofread the organizational newsletter for regular release. Oversee layout, publication, and distribution.
  • Awards: Evaluate awards programs and assess their relevance to the organization. Prepare entries, nomination requirements, and other documents in coordination with relevant teams for submission to award-giving bodies.
  • Reports: Develop organizational content for annual reports, sustainability reports, and good governance reports.
  • Digital: Oversee content development for the organizational microsite, social media posts, and online media outlets following established standards.
  • Video Production: Contribute to video development in collaboration with partners and in coordination with external agencies.
  • Events Management: Coordinate and cover internal and external events. Prepare project briefs, speeches, presentations, invitations, and communications materials.
  • Correspondence: Respond to inquiries from internal or external parties on behalf of the organization.
  • Meetings and Presentations: Coordinate and participate in meetings and presentations as needed.
  • Data Collection: Collect data pertaining to organizational programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
