As a Home Care Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of client care services.
Job OverviewThis position involves coordinating caregiver schedules to meet the needs of clients and caregivers working remotely. You will be responsible for managing multiple schedules across different regions, responding promptly to changes or missing clock-ins, and maintaining open communication with clients and caregivers through phone calls using VoIP technology.
Daily Responsibilities- Schedule Management: Build and maintain up-to-date caregiver schedules to ensure seamless operations.
- Communication: Respond quickly to schedule changes or missing clock-ins, and communicate effectively with clients and caregivers.
- Record Keeping: Update records and case notes in WellSky (training provided) to maintain accurate information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to identify issues and maintain staffing balance.
- Evaluation: Conduct regular check-ins and evaluations with caregivers to assess their performance.
- Reporting: Generate weekly reports and provide updates to leadership on key metrics.
- Scheduling Experience: Proven experience in scheduling or ability to perform well under pressure.
- Calm Demeanor: Possess a calm demeanor and natural organization skills to handle challenging situations.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to respond to changing circumstances.
- Technical Competence: Be comfortable with software systems and remote communication tools.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationship-building skills and trustworthiness to build trust with clients and caregivers.
- Initiative-Taking: Demonstrate an initiative-taking and teamwork-oriented mindset to drive results.
- Availability: Be available to work in a US time zone schedule.
