Job Overview

Senior Infrastructure Engineers play a vital role in designing, implementing and delivering key infrastructure components across cloud platforms.

This position requires close collaboration with team leads, product management and engineers across multiple domains to understand technical requirements and ensure designs meet long term business needs.

  • Lead specific infrastructure projects from initial design to final deployment and maintenance.
  • Respond to alerts, troubleshoot and remediate issues.
  • Eliminate manual tasks via configuration management tools.
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of infrastructure services.
  • Coordinate with technology leads on developing global standards and procedures for standard OS builds, development environments, application packaging and deployment.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient infrastructure solutions.
  • Maintain high levels of system uptime and performance.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
Ideal Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and command line utilities.
  • Hands-on scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash and Ruby.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and SaltStack.
  • Familiarity with Agile development process, secure infrastructure designs and deployment principles.
  • Proficiency in public cloud services including compute, storage and networking.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code frameworks like CloudFormation and Terraform.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Background in deploying and supporting large-scale database environments.
