Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take on the challenging role of architecting and running OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage. This individual will be responsible for enabling devsecops for applications running on that infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will bring Python software-engineering skills and rigor to the operations domain, practicing devsecops from bare metal to application.
This position involves operating cloud environments with hundreds of private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for customers across physical and public cloud estates, using automation and a universal operator pattern and model-driven operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions using OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code in Python to automate operations tasks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and open source infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong background in Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with Python programming language.
- Proven operational experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
- Knowledge of public or private cloud management.
