Job Overview

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of provider credentialing and payer enrollment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements.

This involves managing and maintaining provider credentialing files and records, verifying licenses and certifications through primary source verification, preparing and tracking payer enrollment and re-enrollment applications, and monitoring credentialing and enrollment status to ensure timely updates and renewals.

  • Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining accurate and confidential provider data, preparing and submitting enrollment applications to payers, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards such as HIPAA.
  • Candidates should possess a strong understanding of healthcare administration principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field, at least two years of experience in provider credentialing, enrollment, or healthcare administration, and stable employment history.

  • A solid foundation in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, OneNote, and Outlook, is also required, as well as experience using credentialing databases and software.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and healthcare compliance is essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
