Job Overview

The role of a Credentialing Specialist involves empowering healthcare providers to initiate, manage, and grow their practices. The specialist will provide comprehensive support for all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing processes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage applications, conduct primary source verification, and maintain the credentialing database with precision and thoroughness.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations as well as accreditation standards.
  • Assist with provider privileging and onboarding processes.
  • Support the generation of credentialing reports and identify issues to resolve.
  • Contribute to process improvement and adapt to changing organizational needs.

About You

You are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual eager to contribute to a dynamic healthcare organization. You should have 1-3 years of administrative support experience in a healthcare setting or regulated environment.

  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and manage tasks independently.
  • A keen eye for detail and methodical approach to managing documentation and data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and comfortable learning new EHR/credentialing management tools.

This is an entry-level full-time position requiring strong teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
