Job Description

As a solar design specialist, you will be responsible for creating accurate and timely solar design proposals that meet customer requirements. This involves working closely with sales teams to ensure seamless delivery of solar design services.

You will use aerial imagery and web-based software to generate custom proposals showing customers the expected panel layout and solar production of their system.

Additionally, you will maintain knowledge of residential electrical and roofing standards, as well as National Electrical Code and local building codes.

  • Support sales teams with high-quality solar design proposals that meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solar design services effectively.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with designing and/or constructing solar electric systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in solar production modeling software (Aurora, etc.) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD software a plus.
