Key Backend Role

We are looking for a seasoned backend professional to join our team. As a Staff / Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance backend services that support our global trading platform.

Your key responsibilities will include designing, building, and optimising backend services for a low-latency trading platform. You will develop and maintain robust APIs using Java + Spring Boot, supporting real-time trading and market data. Additionally, you will architect and implement highly concurrent systems that ensure 24/7 system reliability and throughput.

Candidates should have deep proficiency in Java and Spring Boot / Spring Cloud, as well as strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency models, and asynchronous programming. Experience building high-concurrency, high-availability backend systems in production environments is essential. Familiarity with message brokers, databases, and in-memory stores is also necessary.

As a member of our backend team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals. Troubleshooting complex production issues and proposing effective fixes is also a key responsibility. Furthermore, you will contribute to system architecture and design discussions, promoting best engineering practices through code reviews and technical mentorship.
