We are looking for an experienced Mobile Application Developer with strong expertise in .NET MAUI to lead the development, integration, and maintenance of our mobile applications. This role will require a deep understanding of mobile app best practices, version management, integration with Azure Active Directory (AAD), and third-party systems, as well as backend API maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile App Development & Integration

  • Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
  • Implement Azure Active Directory (AAD) authentication and authorization.
  • Integrate with various third-party APIs and SDKs.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for mobile UI/UX, performance optimization, and security.

App Lifecycle & Version Management

  • Implement strategies for managing different versions of mobile apps.
  • Coordinate and Experience in simultaneous publishing to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  • Manage beta testing, release notes, and deployment pipelines.

API Development & Maintenance

  • Maintain and enhance backend API applications used by the mobile apps.
  • Ensure API security, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with backend teams to design and document API contracts.

Best Practices & Quality

  • Apply industry best practices for mobile development, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for mobile app releases.
  • Ensure compliance with Google Play and Apple App Store guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional mobile app development experience, with at least 2 years in .NET MAUI (or Xamarin.Forms with MAUI migration experience).
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AAD) integration.
  • Proven experience with RESTful APIs and third-party SDK integration.
  • Hands-on experience with App Store Connect and Google Play Console release processes.
  • Experience in managing app versions and release coordination.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, and XAML.
  • Solid understanding of mobile security best practices.
  • Experience in maintaining backend APIs (ASP.NET Core preferred).

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Push Notification Service).
  • Knowledge of mobile analytics tools (App Center, Firebase Analytics).
  • Familiarity with mobile offline sync strategies.
  • Experience with containerized backend APIs (Docker).

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proactive and self-driven with attention to detail.
