Back-End Developer

Ayala Alabang, National Capital Region, Philippines REPAY DIGITAL BANKING SOLUTIONS, INC. Full time ₱250,000 - ₱300,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain backend features using Laravel and Livewire
  • Create and manage RESTful APIs and database models with Eloquent ORM
  • Integrate backend logic with Livewire components for dynamic, reactive UIs
  • Write optimized SQL queries and perform database migrations/seeding
  • Ensure application security, scalability, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and QA testers in an Agile environment
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues in a timely manner
  • Implement unit and integration tests for backend logic

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Laravel and Livewire development
  • Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, and Eloquent ORM
  • Familiarity with , Blade templates, and Tailwind CSS is a plus
  • Experience in building and consuming REST APIs
  • Knowledge of application security best practices
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with queues, jobs, and event broadcasting

  • Familiarity with Reverb for real-time features

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum workflows
