Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative marketer to lead our organic social media presence and influencer marketing program. As a hands-on, results-driven professional, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, building partnerships with influencers and experts, and growing our online community.

This is a full-time contract position that offers the opportunity to take ownership of a mission-driven brand's organic presence and grow into a full-time hire as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
  • Create and manage a rolling content calendar that supports brand and business priorities.
  • Concept, write, shoot, and edit high-quality content, including short-form video and original graphics.
  • Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy that brings our voice and content pillars to life.
  • Respond to comments and mentions, engage with aligned brands and creators, and build a strong online community.
  • Track performance and report regularly, using insights to inform what's next.
  • Continuously surface new ideas, test them, and adjust based on performance data.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A self-starter with experience in social media marketing, able to move quickly, adapt to new situations, and thrive in both creative and analytical environments.
  • A sharp thinker who brings ideas to the table, tests them with intention, and iterates based on performance data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create efficiently and make decisions rooted in data and insight.
  • Personal connection to the topics we cover or a willingness to learn about them.
