We are seeking a seasoned business development expert to drive growth and success in our organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in national security matters and helping allies and partners while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

About the Role

This role involves identifying potential clients, engaging with them to understand their needs, and presenting solutions to address those needs. You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with clients, understanding the rotational nature of key personalities in client organizations, and transmitting that information to our repository for awareness and understanding.

You will also participate in meetings with sales and marketing teams to review sales goals and present ideas for new business ventures. Additionally, you will create demonstration opportunities between potential customers and Partner Engagement Managers/Operations Managers, conduct market research and analysis, and report on established performance metrics and KPIs to inform data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify potential clients through targeted business development events and focused mid-level to low-level customer engagements based on existing network and relationships.
  • Engage with potential clients to leverage interest in our solutions and pursue generating a deeper understanding for the customer of what we bring to a unit/command/organization.
  • Qualify leads and share them with sales closers, creating and managing leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Promote our products and services during targeted business development events and routine potential customer interactions.
  • Develop and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with clients.
  • Meet sales goals by participating in meetings with sales and marketing teams.
  • Create demonstration opportunities between potential customers and Partner Engagement Managers/Operations Managers.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive threats.
  • Report on established performance metrics and KPIs to inform data-driven decision-making.
