Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Credit Manager to lead our team of credit processing associates and oversee the underwriting and recommending of proposals for education loans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit appraisal, loan underwriting, and risk management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of credit processing associates to ensure smooth transactions and timely delivery of results.
  • Underwrite and recommend proposals for education loans, taking into account non-collateral and collateral-backed options.
  • Develop and implement policies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce delinquencies.
  • Provide training to credit processing associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor end usage of loan funds and ensure compliance with regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as accounting or finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management, loan underwriting, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of credit appraisal, risk management, and loan underwriting principles.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
