About the Role:

This is a challenging position that oversees compensation structures, benefits administration, wage compliance, payroll operations, and staff communications related to payroll and benefits for various organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage compensation strategies, salary scales, and incentive structures
  • Oversee benefits enrollment, renewals, and eligibility tracking (health, dental, vision, disability, retirement, etc.)
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Conduct market analysis and salary benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures
  • Maintain updated position salary bands and coordinate compensation adjustments for new hires, promotions, or policy changes
  • Oversee employee communications and engagement related to benefit programs
  • Coordinate with HRIS and payroll teams to ensure accurate pay setup and deductions
  • Oversee payroll preparation, ensuring payroll is fully submitted on time
  • Resolve escalated employee concerns related to payroll discrepancies or benefit enrollment
  • Serve as the primary liaison for benefits brokers, insurance carriers, and plan administrators
  • Analyze usage trends and make recommendations for cost-effective benefit design
  • Manage the open enrollment process including system setup, training, and employee support
