Cloud Infrastructure Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, deployment, and management of scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infrastructure as code, DevOps automation, and robust authentication and access controls.

This role involves collaborating with development, security, and operations teams to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and support enterprise-scale applications. Our team is responsible for ensuring secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure by leveraging best practices and industry-leading tools.

The successful candidate will possess hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Load Balancing. Strong skills in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation are essential, as well as expertise in GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Load Balancing.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring state management and version control.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab to automate infrastructure deployment, testing, and monitoring.
  • Deploy and manage VPN servers to provide secure remote access for cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Implement and manage authentication and access controls, including OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, RBAC, and identity federation integrated with cloud IAM.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in technology environments with enterprise scale infrastructure support.
  • Deep understanding of Java-based applications and enterprise-scale system deployment models.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Expertise in Terraform and GitLab.
  • Strong knowledge of authentication and access control mechanisms.
