
Caregiver Scheduler

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to fill the role of caregiver scheduler, responsible for managing caregiver schedules, communicating changes, and ensuring smooth staffing operations in a fast-paced home care setting.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional care to seniors. As a caregiver scheduler, you will be the backbone of our operation, coordinating schedules, resolving issues, and providing excellent support to both caregivers and clients.
- You will build and maintain up-to-date caregiver schedules across multiple counties, ensuring seamless coverage and minimizing last-minute substitutions.
- Respond promptly to cancellations or no-shows, leveraging your problem-solving skills to find solutions and minimize disruptions.
- Provide top-notch communication through the VoIP system, keeping clients and caregivers informed and supported throughout their interactions.
- Maintain accurate records and case notes in WellSky, utilizing your organizational skills to keep data current and comprehensive.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to identify potential issues and implement strategies to ensure stable staffing levels.
- Conduct regular check-ins and evaluations with caregivers, providing feedback and coaching to help them grow and succeed.
- Gather and present weekly reports to leadership, highlighting key metrics and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in scheduling or a related field is highly desirable; healthcare or home care experience is a significant plus.
- You must possess excellent time management and organization skills, remaining calm under pressure and adapting to changing circumstances.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for identifying and addressing operational challenges.
- Proficiency with software systems and remote communication tools is necessary for effective collaboration and information exchange.
- A proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders, establishing trust and credibility as a reliable partner.
- You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, taking initiative when needed while also being a valuable contributor to group efforts.
- Willingness to work within a US time zone schedule is required.
