Job Opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned eCommerce Platform Developer to join our team. As a key member of the development squad, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge e-commerce solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • E-commerce Platform Development: Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance e-commerce platforms that deliver seamless online shopping experiences.
  • Front-end and Back-end Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, code, and deploy front-end and back-end components, including APIs, integrations, and third-party services.
  • Content Management: Manage and update website content using a content management system (CMS), ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  • eCommerce Integration: Integrate e-commerce functionalities such as shopping carts, payment gateways, and third-party plugins to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize website performance, including speed, responsiveness, and overall site efficiency.
  • SEO and Analytics: Implement SEO best practices and track website performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure website alignment with branding and marketing strategies.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect customer data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in e-commerce platform development, preferably in a retail or direct-to-consumer (DTC) environment.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and CMS (e.g., WordPress).
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
  • Love of food and cooking. Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry are a plus.
