Brief Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strategy to achieve the advocacy objective and execute it.
  • Identify key stakeholders in Congress and plan engagement/outreach activities.
  • Liaise with key legislators, personnel in relevant organizations, and develop networks and relationships.
  • Monitor legislation, track reform progress, committee meetings, and stakeholder positions.
  • Participate in briefings, meetings, and other organized activities, providing technical support as needed.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in a relevant field, Master's degree is a plus but not necessary.
  • At least three years of work experience, preferably in Congress or with demonstrated knowledge of Congressional processes.
  • Must be willing to work part-time (can work remotely but should be available for face-to-face meetings when safe and necessary).
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web literate (including familiarity with online project collaboration tools and social media platforms).
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, must be diligent and able to work with minimal supervision.
