Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux-based infrastructure and applications, covering all layers of the stack.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves resolving complex customer problems related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, or Kubernetes. You will maintain close working relationships with our Field, Support and product engineering teams.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve customer issues with Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, or Kubernetes
  • Maintain close working relationships with internal teams
  • Participate in upstream communities
  • Develop bug fixes, backport patches, and collaborate with upstream for inclusion
  • Review code produced by other engineers
  • Demonstrate good judgment in technical methods and techniques
  • Prioritize work effectively
  • Participate in team discussions to improve processes and documentation
