Job Overview

The mid-senior level position of Technical Services Specialist plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and technical support to clients, while also mentoring team members.

To succeed in this position, you will have a strong value system, proven experience in systems administration, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, deploy, and manage computer networks, software systems, and infrastructure, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, and application software.
  • Advanced troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows servers, workstation operating systems, and network issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors for third-party software support and plan deployments, upgrades, and network refreshes.
Requirements
  • Experience in an MSP environment and 3-4 years of full workstation support with troubleshooting Windows OS (Windows 8.1 to 11).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in systems administration or a related field.
  • Network experience, including firewalls, smart switches, access points, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Server 2008+ and server OS management, administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

This is a permanent night shift, long-term work-from-home arrangement that requires a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results-oriented solutions.
