Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional support in the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice and payment processing, GL coding, vendor maintenance, and general record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
  • Process corporate credit cards in accordance with internal policies and controls.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and annual close activities, preparing additional reports as requested by senior management.
  • Review and audit credit card statements and charges to ensure entries and limits are correct.
  • Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (a plus).
  • At least 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, with QuickBooks expertise required.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask projects, establish priorities, work independently, and organize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite of Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides Gmail).
  • Must be trustworthy and able to keep confidential information contained.
