Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Professional with 4–7 years of tax accounting experience in public practice. The ideal candidate will manage complex tax compliance and advisory services, ensuring adherence to Australian tax regulations while providing high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, trust, partnership, and SMSF tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with ATO regulations and deadlines.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits and notices.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Research and interpret tax laws and regulations.
  • Advise clients on tax-efficient structures and transactions.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and industry developments.
  • Prepare and present tax reports to management and clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements as they relate to tax matters.

Software Experience

  • Xero
  • MYOB
  • QuickBooks
  • HandiSoft
  • BGL

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CA qualification is a plus but not required.
  • 5–7 years of experience in tax accounting within a public accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
